My name is Erik and I live in Denver, Colorado.
SONLIGHT HEALTH & WELLNESS
Growing up on the Pacific coast just south of San Francisco the word Sonlight holds special meaning for me.
It reminds me of our spiritual connection to each other and the world around us, and the impact we can create when those things are aligned. Sonlight represents the light that wants to shine into our lives, the spark of purpose and passion lighting within us, and ultimately the light we can then share with others. The name is also a tribute to my father.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Colorado having completed professional training at Denver Integrative Massage School. I specialize in functional and integrated massage techniques such as Deep Tissue, Swedish, Traditional Thai Yoga Massage, Therapeutic Cupping and more. I am a mindful practitioner and approach my body work sessions customized to each client's individual needs and desired outcomes.
I am also a sobriety coach, otherwise known as a sober coach or peer recovery coach. Graduating from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Health Coach and with shared personal experience as a successfully recovering alcoholic, I specialize in helping men and women live as the healthiest versions of themselves alcohol-free. I offer one-on-one health coaching programs to help my clients achieve meaningful and lasting change (online and in-person).​
Prior to launching Sonlight, I spent five years in the U.S. Marine Corps receiving an honorable discharge at the end of my service. I entered the corporate world after attaining a Bachelor's degree in business and ultimately an MBA from the University of San Francisco. However, after fifteen years in the corporate world I decided to follow my true passion for bodywork, nutrition, wellness and helping others live alcohol-free lives.
I founded Sonlight Health and Wellness to help people improve their health and lives, and I haven't looked back.
